Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

I am sitting here trying to figure out if the STAT book on amazon is the one we need for NUR1020L. It is the 5th edition but it says clinical workbook not clinical case studies. Dont want to order it and its the wrong one. Anyone have an idea what STAT book we need to get.

I called Dr365 for the titers they're for $310 since I come from Haiti and I got the vaccines when I was an infant...so i'm also looking for smt cheaper

I just did mine on Saturday and paid 179. That is strange?

That's the one 5th ed, a clinical reasoning workbook for nurses. Castillo.

Yes the physical examination. I went to dr365 which worked out to 179 for titers, PPD and physical. They are cheaper.

I'll say! I will go there.... I called a dr today and he wanted to charge me 203.00 for the physical alone!!! Yikes

Which one of the immunization results/ titers should we submit along with the physical?

Congratulations to everyone that got accepted to the program! I have a quick question I know I was discussing this with some of u regarding financial aid and CEU not being covered. I went to the financial aid office and the person there told me that ONLY the HCP core class would be completely covered.

Can anyone please let me know if financial aid covered HCP 100% without getting kicked back at a later date.....
