AUG 9,14-NYHQ RN open house

hi, anyone of you here joined the open house today and was able to fill in an application? after filling out, they gave me this envelope with some papers about the pharm bok review, etc.. as i was reading it, it says, we'll gonna have ourselves scheduled for the pharm exam.

QUESTION:

do we have to wait a call from them (if chosen)?

this does not guarantee that you are hired right?

I didnt get any call this week.. maybe im out? I wonder if everybody will have the pharm exM..

Yea, I believe that everybody who was given an application would be given an opportunity to take the pharm exam....remember it was ALOT of ppl. So therefore it takes time to call them all.

Hi guys, just called them to followed up my application,but unfortunately she's on vacation till aug25. Nobody can give any updates re: my application. Not sure if they're done calling people for the pharm exam or not.

I think this is going to be a long process, also if its the lady on the card I still think/or they should not stop calls because she is on vacation.

So I just followed up with some of my friends who attended the open house last time in may. Two of them said they did not get their call until 2 weeks after the day of the open house because there was alot of people they had to schedule and the tests are proctored. So it could just be that they are doing it slowly and then the unfortunate timing that shes on vacation. Try to stay position until she returns. And also two of them who did not sit for the pharm exam said they got an email from the lady stating why if they were not called, so if you have not gotten the email then I would not stress out just yet.

I indeed agree with you. I think it will be a long process but sadly thats how it is with hospital hiring. Just gotta hope that it all works out after all this. Hows the studying going?

Studying, is going good with the math, just trying to remember all the side effects, and other things for the medication on the list. But had to work over the weekend so I am going to pick up on it during the week. Thanks for asking. How the studying going with u?

I think that once we take the Pharm test, I think we will know within a week what is going on... because we also have to get that premployment physical, ID pics taken and all that other stuff, plus fill out working papers. So I think we should know what the time frame will be within a week of us taking the test. At least I hope so!!
