If you are the recipient of, or know a nurse who is the recipient of unreasonable 'fitness for duty' refrained from practice referrals as the result of retaliation or vague 'complaints' from fellow nurses or case managers, please private message me. There are three of us thus far, I'm looking to lobby for some change.

Bump... Keep 'em coming nurses. We are now FOUR... If you know of or have experienced unreasonable referrals because your colleagues or case managers are angry with you, contact me. If you, or someone you know has completed IPN, but wen't through hell to get there, make an anonymous account and contact me. I'm simply collecting accounts and assigning #s to protect the identity of participants who wish to speak up, but are afraid of further retaliation.

The only way we can affect change is by standing together.

I'll keep 'bumping' this to the top.

If you have a referral story, please share via PM. An example would be, X coworker doesn't like IPN participant, reports her to IPN for driving into a dumpster, a lake. IPN doesn't check to see if participant drove into a dumpster, or a lake. But, refrains nurse from practice, sends nurse to evaluator, sends nurse for neuropsych testing.

Are they kidding?! Driving into a dumpster?

They encourage this type of thing because $$$$
