ATT form for EC exams..

How fast do you get them in the mail? Is there an option to get it sent in e-mail like the NCLEX? Thanks.

I never actually needed the ATT letters for any of the EC exams. I took it along to the first one I took (A&P), but they never asked for it so I never bothered to bring them for NC1-NC7 or Micro. Never had a problem. :) Not sure if other Pearson VUE centers are different, but that was my experience.

Like Lisa, mine were not taken up, but I took most of my ASN and BSN exams under Thomson Prometric/Sylvan rather than Pearson. I would always take the ATT with me out of a fear of being denied by some fluke though.

Does Pearson not email you a copy automatically?

I've never taken one. You've got fingerprints and a driver's license, right? That's your entree.

I took my letter with me the last time I went to a Pearson center and they said I didn't need it. I think I looked at the bottom or on the back and found where it said that the letter was not required to be taken to the center on the day of the test.

You're exactly right! I just pulled out my last ATT letter (for Micro), and it says at the bottom on the back side, "This Authorization To Test (ATT) letter is not required for admission at the test site."

Thanks everyone for your help! I PAID for the 1st test a few hrs ago and feel really sick to my stomach that I'm doing this.. man oh man.. I'm this nervous over the 1st test- how will I ever manage the CPNE:uhoh3:?! I plan on taking my test late next week!

You can do this ... in a lot of ways, the first test is the most difficult! :)

Take it one step at a time. Ignore the CPNE - that's a year away.
