Att for December graduates

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Any students that just graduated in December who are waiting for there ATT.

Specializes in Neuroscience.

I started working on my application back in Oct, did the fingerprints/bg check, sent the photo, etc, paid pearson at the start of December.  My ATT was sent to my state BON on 12/18, received my ATT on 12/22, and am signed up to take the NCLEX on 1/7. I think it all depends on how fast your state BON processes things honestly.

Specializes in Medical surgical/oncology.

That is very quick, I’m in the state of VA. They take at least 30 days

Officially Graduated Friday 12/11, our school send our AOG to the Texas BON on Monday 12/14, received my ATT on 12/15 and am testing on 1/6.

Does anyone know how to get a copy of your GN permit to send to a employer?

In Texas you can go to https://txbn.boardsofnursing.org/licenselookup and get your GN permit information with just your name and which license you applied for (RN or LVN/LPN). Other states may have a similar look up system. Exploring your states BON website may be helpful.

Graduated dec. 17, FL, not heard a thing yet

Graduated Dec 14.

Louisiana board processed app on 16th, received ATT on 19th. Been a RN since Jan 11th :')

The wait sucks and I feel for all of y'all who still don't have your ATT yet. I can't imagine having to wait that long just to get an authorization to test.

Congratulations on passing the NCLEX. I still haven’t received my ATT been about a month now since my initial application. The VA BON stays 30 business days but can be up to 45 . It’s frustrating but out my hands currently.

Specializes in Student, Grad: ‘21.

In California they are currently processing apps from Nov 1-15 (according to the BRN site). It’s definitely adding to the anxiety. Never imagined it would be a 10-12 week wait minimum!

Graduated mid-December, application sent to the CA BRN two weeks prior, fingerprinting done that same week,  school sent transcripts 1/12/21 and were told today that the BRN won't even begin to look our batch of transcripts for at least two more weeks. Looks like it will be late February or early March before I get my ATT.

I’ve since received my ATT and tested 2/6/21

Specializes in CVICU RN.

I paid for my Pearson account Jan 15 before my school told me we had to go to do the application, Jan 27th we received the go to do the application and pay the fee, it didn’t take me 4wks to get my att because I already paid for Pearson.Feb 4 I was cleared from background, and feb 5th I got my att, sitting March for NCLEX.Dates are windled at least by 2 months to sit for exam unless you’re willing to take a good drive.Wish me goodlucks!
