I got a 99% on the predictor and I got 75 questions and passed. HOWEVER, I cannot stress to you enough that all the predictor tests in the world will not help you pass... It is up to you to put the effort into studying like mad while waiting to take the NCLEX. It would have been incredibly foolish of me to take that 99% result and kick up my heels for the next three months and not cracked a book or a practice test, and I assure you had I done that, my 99% would have meant absolutely nothing because I would have failed. Predictors are just another tool in your toolbelt, but it is by no means the end-all and be-all. People "fail" predictors and pass NCLEX and people "pass" predictors and fail NCLEX... It is what you make it!
Dangerous is absolutely correct. NCLEX is like nothing else. It is challenging and difficult. It was the hardest test I EVER TOOK.
I got a 92 percent predictor on ATI. To me, that was not good enough. I was an honor student. I thought I should have done better. Most of my friends got 96 percent and above. I know I am not a great standarized test taker... so I spoke to my advisor and she recommended Kaplan. My school offered Hurst. So I did BOTH Hurst and Kaplan. I studied EVERYDAY since graduation. Yes 92 was good, but not good enough in my eyes, and I wanted to pass this thing first time out. So studying I did. I found out I PASSED just the other day. Had I relied just on the predictor test, I think I would have failed. YOU HAVE TO STUDY FOR THIS. No doubt about it. Do not rely on any prediction.
GOOD LUCK!!!

I was wondering if passing the ATI predictor with a "84% pass rate" is a good indication of passing NCLEX. Everywhere i've read here said that people got at least a 95% chance of passing. Is it similar to the NCLEX?
