I took the ATI predictor and it said I had a 98% chance of passing NCLEX on the first attempt, and course I FAILED (265 qestions). I didnt think ATI was very helpful in my studying for NCLEX. For the second attempt I used Kaplan and Saunders and thought those were helpful for content and NCLEX style questions, and I passed on my second attemt (85 questions).

Congratulaions on passing:yeah: and thank you for the suggestions
I did not try the Kaplan as I am studying from the Saunders book. But my school used the ATI and it seemed to be so different from NCLEX questions that I see in Saunders. Very simple questions and they don't always involve a "situation" in the question to make you think. I just don't think the ATI is realistic to use for review
I did both ATI (in school) and the Kaplan (as review before RN boards) I have BOTH of them to be USELESS.
Even though the ATI predicted that I had a 95% - it didn't help me much. It wasn't until I used the Saunders book and study alone...and ended up passing.
Each person is different, some like other plan better than others. I hope that you find a program that suits you. Much success on your road to studying for the NCLEX.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying out some different test banks. I have an VATI Coach that keeps telling me passing her tests with a 65% is great ( I get 66-77), that it's a 98-99% predictive of passing NCLEX first time. I don't know that I believe her. :) I'm used to doing much better on test in school, ut this is so different. I'm doing even worse in Kaplan, getting 55-65s. Is this normal??? Suggestions?
