ATI EXIT EXAM

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello all, just a quick question...has anyone recently graduated nursing school and have to take the ATI RN predictor exit exam? I'm just freaking out because we don't have any info on it n I don't know how I should study. We recently had the ATI RN live review last week n I wanted to know is there anything else I should be doing?

We have to pass this test in order to graduate, so if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Edit...sorry I think I put in the wrong forum, please move if u have to

Hey, I took the ATI predictor in september and If I am correct it was 180 questions. Graduated in October, my advice just review all your ati modules/ practice tests.

Thank u very much...glad to get that 180 question thing verified...I think our class should b fine!

I took ATI comprehensive exam on November 7th. Like someone said, it was 180 questions. atitesting.com has 150 comprehensive practice questions such as "RN comprehensive practice quiz 2010" or "...2013" if your teacher opens up for the students. The instructor asked us to get 90 % above to graduate, which means basically above level 2. 90% means "90 % of possibility to pass the state board". It's not the percentage of correct answers. So, if you make around 70% in the practice quiz, you will be fine.

Wow, thanks a bunch, our school never even told us there was a practice exam that they can open...this is news to me! That would've helped us tremendously!

I took it. Wasn't easy. There are 3 different forms that I know of though. If you took the ones for each class, they come out again on the exit. I took the 2010 version so I'm not sure if it's changed since then.

The 2010 version is what we've been using throughout nursing school, so I'm guessing they won't switch to the 2013 version for the predictor. Thank u, that is helpful to know that some if these questions come up again. Did u study for it when u took it out did u just do the practice tests?

Hey! Just wondering if you remember about how many questions were on the exam? Also, when you took the 2013 predictor just for fun, did you find that online somewhere? I would like to take a practice one before I take mine. Thanks!

they should have given you access to the practice ones. Did you have a live review?

I honestly think its dumb about how the percentile is calculated into this if people have taken the live review or have taken it multiple times.

We used both

Hi, did you take the ATI Comprehensive Predictor 2013. If so do you mind emailing what you need to review.

The test is so random, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what u need to know. U will have to know it all, I took the 2010 & 2013 version. If u have access to the practice comprehensive test, I say take that, it should help also take all the other practice test as well.

@ are_in_student are 2010 & 2013 similar or totally new test ? My friend who graduated it 2009 has some old books, not sure if I should use them

The tests are similar just updated questions, u might see a couple of the same questions but they are not necessarily harder. Ur gonna b ok with those books because a friend of mine gave me those same books and I was fine. Content is content, that kinda stuff don't change. Hope u do great on the test, bless u good luck!
