ATI comprehensive predictor score

I'm getting ready for my test also. From what I keep hearing from my teachers and Kaplan rep, the trick is to take as many practice tests as you can and read all the rationales. For me, each question is like a mini review of a topic. I imagine the goal is expose you to the most important info in bite size chunks. Good luck!

I scored a 66% which puts me at an 82% chance of passing NCLEX the first time. I initially felt okay about the score, seeing as I didn't study for this (I intentially did not study to see where I stand knowledge wise)

Why did you intentionally not study for the test? Was your plan that if you scored high on the predictor that you don't need to study for NCLEX?

Predictor is a practice run for NCLEX. If you studied for the predictor the same as studying for NCLEX, it predicts your chance of passing. Since you didn't study for the predictor, you do not truly know how you will do on NCLEX.

I can understand not studying for the ATI predictor. I did the same thing. My school gives it at the beginning of the last semester and we have to pass the HESI exit with a 850 at the end of that semester. I wanted to see what areas I needed to focus on for the HESI. Remember these are just school exams that are supposed to help you determine if you are ready for the NCLEX. Look over your detailed results and build a study plan from there. 82% chance of passing NCLEX is pretty good for not studying. Study hard for the NCLEX and I'm sure you'll do fine!

I also didn't study for mine and got a 97% predicted. I don't know hope much credit to give it though. I'm still going to study like crazy before my NCLEX. I would recommend to use this as motivation!
