Hey everyone! I thought this would be a great place to talk about Applications, TEAS Questions/Scores, Titers, and just getting to know each other!! Which semester are you applying for? Questions? It'll be fun! :) Introduce yourself!!!
I am applying for the fall term downtown. I'm nervous but totally excited! :)

Hello! I took the teas and applied today, hoping to get accepted for Summer start....but, this is going to feel like the longest wait of my life! I wish I would have come across this website while working on my application and studying for the teas! Just came upon it today while nervously researching average advancement scores, haha!
Hey mo415! That's exactly how I came across this site, too! I believe the advancement low is about 1.759 (if that helps). How was the TEAS? I am hoping to get accepted for Fall @ downtown. It's going to be such a long wait.... April won't come soon enough. This is even if I pass my Patho class. :)
Yeah, that definitely helps! My advancement score is 1.82 so hopefully thats enough to secure a spot! Iy sounds like it just may be!! The teas was definitely hard but actually easier than I thought. I did significantly better than I imagined I would, and better than I was doing on the practice tests at home. I ended up with an 87%! Yeah, good luck with patho! It's no joke, but if I can pass with an A, anyone can! :)
Congrats on the TEAS! I was told 87% is an awesome application score by my advisor, which is great, because I actually have the same TEAS score as you (if that helps you feel better). I think you're in excellent shape! :) Yeah, I have my first patho exam on Wed. and am practically terrified, haha. Thanks for the enthusiasm! I'm glad you did so well!!
Oh, awesome! Certainly makes me feel better! :) Well good luck on your first exam! I felt like the material was interesting, makes it easier to learn and remember. Also, not sure if you use Kahn Academy but they have seriously awesome videos. They simplify everything! That website has saved me many a late nights while up studying!

Hey guys! I just applied for Fall start at Downtown with a 3.93 GPA and a 83.3 TEAS score. I actually applied for Spring 2016, but was put on the alternate list and didn't get pulled in. (My advancement score was 1.74157) Since then I took a replacement class for ENG101 and retook the TEAS to get my score up! All throughout last semester I was reading a group on here and it helped a lot! The cutoff score last semester was 1.75833, but I'm pretty sure they brought in a couple alternates because many people applied to the post-bacc program as well as traditional, and they ended up choosing post-bacc instead. This is actually my first post on allnurses because I never posted on the old one, but I figured I'd give you guys any information I could from last time! Here is the old thread: https://allnurses.com/arizona-nursing/spring-2016-asu-1005307-page1.html
Hey mo415,
I took my first Patho exam on Wednesday and I think I did well! Apparently, someone (or more) in the Thursday class was cheating, as the instructor sent out an email stating that the exam was "compromised" and we wouldn't see our score for awhile until it was sorted out. I'm just waiting to hear my score now, haha. Thanks for the Kahn academy tip, I'll check that out! The material is definitely interesting, no doubt!

Does anyone know when emails will be going out for what program we got/didn't get into?
Hi m3owz3rs!!
It sounds like you really improved your score! I'm sure you'll be fine!! :)
Hi k_karenh,
My advisor said we should be getting an email in around mid-late march to make sure our information is correct and another email around early April pertaining to our acceptance into the program. It's getting closer and I'm getting nervous! :)

Congratulations on applying and wish you all the best! I am currently in ASU nursing program :)
As far as I know, there are usually few spaces open for Fall if you are a transfer student. I wasn't able to get into a fall cohort with 3.9GPA and 85% on TEAS. It's not to discourage you if you have lower score than I did. Every year is different and I can't exactly say how many spots will be open this time. Keep your fingers crossed!
