ASU Post Bacc - 2021

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hi Everyone!

I've created this chain for anyone applying to the ASU Post Bacc BSN program for the 2021 cycle.

A little about me: I've completed all the prereqs and just took the TEAS last month (scoring a 93.3% so if you have any questions/are about to take the TEAS soon please let me know!) I'm 28, originally from CA but now living in AZ, and even though nursing will be a 2nd career it's been a dream job of mine since I was 18. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Does anyone know when our My ASU will change to being admitted to the nursing program? Mine hasn’t changed yet

I’m also excited to say that I will be advancing! I look forward to meeting and working with all of you!?

Awesome! Is it OK if I ask what your advancement score was?

I talked to Aja and she mentioned that we would be registered for our Spring classes in mid November, so I assume our status will change shortly before that.

Mine was a 1.75 with an 84 on the TEAS

Elizabeth, you got on the alternative list with a 1.75 or you were fully accepted? Seems like another tough year.

I was on the alternate list, but I got a phone call from Aja yesterday as well as an email offering me a spot. I had 24 hours to say yes or no.

Wow good to know.... thanks for the update.  Good luck you guys!

That's awesome! congratulations! I'm also an alternate but I doubt I'll get in. I'm completing my requirements though incase there's a miracle.haha. I just need to submit my health clearance and just waiting on drug test results which I just did yesterday. Still hoping that there will be a chance for me.

Anything is possible. Last year, a few people from the 2020 cohort were offered to go to the MEPN instead, so PBCNP slots opened up.

I really hope I still have a chance.

How does everyone plan on paying for the cost of living while in school? I might have to drop if I can’t find a way to pay for school and my regular life.
