ABSN ASU 2022
@Mtphan I did a lot of research and although I’m partial to ASU anyway the GCU program has had a lot of flaws from talking to previous classmates. Their ABSN program is relatively new. A lot of it is online which may work for some people but with fresh nursing students I just felt more hands-on is better. At one point it was 90% online 10% clinicals and simulation labs. Also from my research when I factored out the cost it was more to go to GCU ($55k) and a longer program (16 months). like I said I’m not trying to totally one side my best friend graduated nursing school at GCU And I have lots of friends I did their master program. Good luck with your decision either way I’m sure you will excel in whichever program fits you the best ?

ABSN ASU 2022
Thank you Sam I really appreciate it. I hope you guys are surviving your last couple of months. Mary…..as far as the fingerprint card goes I did mine about a month ago and it actually came much faster than the website said. It was super easy super quick. So I’m sure you’ll be OK if you get it done ASAP.

ABSN ASU 2022
Hey, I haven’t officially submitted my application yet I am waiting to talk to the advisor on Tuesday and have her look over my form just to make sure all is good. I went in with a 1.0 for my GPA but I bombed my TEAS. I hate tests like that Ha. I ended up with a 1.70 cumulative score due to that ?. So I guess we will see what happens, I saw a 1.5 got in last year but the year before it was 1.7 and above. I figured if it’s meant to work out it will.

ABSN ASU 2022
Oh great I'll check out their page..... I am looking forward to taking it and having a few months off of no school and studying before it gets crazy. How is your cumulative score looking? I'm shooting for a 1.8 eeeekkkk. Fingers crossed, it'll all come down to the TEAS as I'm going in with a 3.9 GPA, but gosh I hate tests ha.

ABSN ASU 2022
Hey guys, just starting the thread for all those applying to Arizona State University ABSN program to being in January. I followed along with the 2021 cohort just in case I was ready to apply for that one but decided to wait and shoot for 2022 so here I am.... months away from the application deadline. I just am finishing my last pre req HCR 240 thru Rio Salado eeeeew. Super anxious about taking the TEAS but planning to do so next month. Whats everyones background? I'm totally switching gears and have a bachelors degree in Business. Anyways, to all the previous cohorts, please feel free to give tips, suggestions, anything you think we should know ahead of time. Oh and I saw they added the Havasu program too, I live in Phoenix so I won't apply for that one but I'm anxious to hear what others think of the addition.

ASU Post Bacc - 2021
Hi guys, I'm planning on applying for the next cohort. I was missing 2 courses and didn't want to rush it for this semester and risk messing up my GPA. Excited for you guys, can't wait till next year this time of year when its hopefully myself waiting and getting acceptance letters. Anxious to follow you guys and see how the COVID stuff affects the program. I'm shooting for a 1.8 to be safe since it sounds like low 1.7's didn't make it. Stressful and exciting. Again, congrats to you all. Good luck!!
