Hey folks,
I'm in the wait list for the Maricopa Community College program, and was wondering if any of you have applied/are currently in the ASU CEP program?
I will HOPEFULLY be submitting my application to this program at the end of the month. I'm trying to find out what the average GPA for acceptance is. All the advisors say is that they don't have those statistics yet..
I know the minimum GPA, but what's the AVERAGE for acceptance??
Thanks a ton in advance, from a nervous pre-nursing student who is TRYING to be patient.
I'm currently in the CEP at gateway with university of Phoenix and I'm in block 1. My hesi score was a 92 and my GPA like a 3.1 and I got in. It really depends on who they have applying for that semester and how many spots they have for it. There's 24 of us in my class total and we're all a part of the concurrent program.
Hi Twash10- Sorry I got your private message about gateway but I don't have enough threads to write a private message yet. I would LOVE any advise you have about block one. I am most nervous about the the amount of reading they talk about. Do you actually read it all? How do you retain it? Or do you just take notes, etc. I have also been told recording the lectures helps. You can write back here or privately but any advise or helpful tips would be so appriciated. You can also e-mail me at [email protected]! THANK YOU!!!
HI,I'm applying next week to the ASU/CEP program.
I have a 3.3 GPA
I was wondering how the application process went. How long did it take for them to get back to you about acceptance?
Hi!
I applied to the NAU/CEP program on the 28th! Still waiting on the verdict! So anxious to just get a decision! GL! =)
Hi Brianne,
I'm taking my last pre-req for MCC Nursing and want to do the CEP with ASU. Care to share any insights about the program, especially your impression of MCC faculty? I had a really bad issue with another faculty/program that has been hard to shake, she made negative comments about my age (over 40). Not that she was any spring chicken, but anyway I just want to get a sense of what I'm walking into. I don't want to spend thousands of more dollars to have a lot of back stabbing going on. Feel free to PM me if that's easier. Thank you!
Anyone please chime in also, thanks again!

I'm applying to the program in May and if all goes as planned I will end up with a 3.8 GPA. My overall HESI is a 83%, 92% in Math and 80% in Reading but I spoke to the advisor at MCC (where I'm applying) and she informed me that they give points based on score for reading ans points for math score rather than just a score for the overall test. I myself am thinking of retaking it to up my score. I've heard people who got in with a 3.5 GPA and higher and some lower. It all really depends on who is applying and what their scores are at that time.
What do you have remaining to take?
I'm applying to the NAU program..the 3 universities all have different requirements.
