Hi friends! I'm applying as a competitive applicant to Arizona State University's Traditional BSN (TPCNP) program. I'm starting this thread in hopes that I can find other students currently applying, as well. My advancement score is a 1.91 with a 3.85 Select GPA and 94.7 TEAS score. Please comment below if you are applying to ASU's program or are currently in it! Good luck everyone :)

Congrats! Looks like you're definitely in!
I applied with a 4.0 GPA and an 88% on my teas so a 1.88 advancement score. I took the TEAS last summer before the application cycle as a practice run, but they said It's high enough that I don't have to retake it. I hope they're right! They told me that their most competitive cycle was the Spring 2019 cohort which had a 1.83 as their lowest score.
Anyway good luck to all!

@calpoppy Congratulations to you too, you'll definitely get in with a 1.88! It looks like admissions have become slightly more competitive with each cycle, so I'm expecting the cutoff score to be in the low 1.80's this time. It just comes down to whether or not we get placed in our first choice cohort! :)

I applied for this cycle with an advancement score of 1.89! Really hoping I get into my first choice, summer. Can anyone clarify about when we find out if we are accepted? The email I received after applying said I will be notified of advancement mid March, but others were saying, in previous years, they didn't find out until early April.
Good luck, everyone!

That's exactly what I've heard, too, @GBar. I read on one of these forums from a couple years ago that advancement notices went out in April due to administration changes, so I'm hoping that CONHI is able to stick to this year's mid-March deadline. ASU also does not have a Mayo Clinic cohort this year, so that may save the college some decision time. You have a great advancement score, and I'm confident you'll get into your first choice cohort!

I didn't know that there was not a Mayo cohort this year. I wonder why that is. I'm sure you are right that this will make the selection process quicker. I saw one year that advancement emails went out March 12th, so I'm hoping we can have that speedy of a timeline as well.
Fingers crossed!
I got my email today! I'm in the summer program! Yay ?
Me too! I was placed in the summer program as well ? I’m still waiting to hear back from UofA’s program, as that one is my first choice, but if I don’t get in to that one then I’m excited to start at ASU in May!

Hey! When do you hear back UofA’s program about whether or not you got in?
So I was placed on the alternate list with a 1.867 advancement score and the score they took were 1.86745. I’m assuming I’m pretty high on the list... Do you guys know of anyone that applied to multiple programs and are waiting to hear back? I just want to know if I have a chance of getting in like if someone chose to do a post bacc program, etc? Thanks guys!!

I interviewed with them today and should hear back by the end of the week! Your advancement score is super high, I'm VERY surprised that you're on the waitlist... you must be at the top of it. I'm sure you will get in to either the summer or fall program, there's always someone who drops their spot (potentially me haha) or can't make the health requirement deadlines! People get into ASU and UofA's programs from the waitlist every semester so I'm sure you'll get a spot ?
