ASU BSN Fall/Summer 2019

Published

Hi friends! I'm applying as a competitive applicant to Arizona State University's Traditional BSN (TPCNP) program. I'm starting this thread in hopes that I can find other students currently applying, as well. My advancement score is a 1.91 with a 3.85 Select GPA and 94.7 TEAS score. Please comment below if you are applying to ASU's program or are currently in it! Good luck everyone :)

WOOHOO. I received an email today that I was accepted into the summer program off the alternate list!

Awesome! Congrats! Now on to all the castlebranch requirements. ?

I know! I did a lot of it last night and it took forever.....

Yay CONGRATS!! I'm completing the Castlebranch requirements too right now in case I end up starting ASU's program. So exciting, congratulations to everyone who made it into the clinical program! ❤️

Has the summer 2019 program started yet?

No! It starts May 20-August 13! Are you in it?

No I’m not. I was trying to find more info on the summer cohort and came across this thread. I plan to apply next cycle

So I was placed on the alternate list with a 1.867 advancement score and the score they took were 1.86745. I’m assuming I’m pretty high on the list... Do you guys know of anyone that applied to multiple programs and are waiting to hear back? I just want to know if I have a chance of getting in like if someone chose to do a post bacc program, etc? Thanks guys!!

If you're that close to the cutoff, you should get in. They've taken at least 5 alternate list people per cycle and I've heard of them taking 10 one time, due to people also applying to UofA, GCU, NAU and various other programs. Not to get your hopes up, but you should get a email for a spot. In my cohort, we had 6 people accepted from the alternate list, one of them being called literally a week before the semester started
