hi, lemme cut straight to the point
---> passed NCLEX-RN a month ago
---> left cover letter and resume to HR in hospital (there wasnt an opening and because of this they only took resume and cover letter)
---> after week there was a opening but they only accepted application during one week. and i noticed this late and came there 1 day late. the HR representative told me that they didnt accept application to RN position and she again accepted my RESUME and Cover LETTER
----> after a week (today) i noticed they started receiving applications again but the last date is tomorrow.
QUESTION: Should i go there, apply and leave my Resume and Cover letter (3rd time; previous ones was without application)?
Need answer ASAP
Thanks in advance.
I love technology, we wouldn't have AN if the net was not around. But all hospitals in my area was you to apply on line, they don't meet you face to face and that cuts out alot. All the hiring managers have to go on is words typed in a screen there and they are not personalized at all. Least if you walk into HR to drop off a resume and fill out an app there is a 1st impression even if its with HR rep.
thank you all for your replies. i had an interview on friday and they told that orientation starts after week. so im starting on 6/30 im so excited
i didnt expect call from this hospital because i filled application like i didnt want that job (it was too unneat-i was in a rush). i didnt even follow up with them after applying i forgot about them and they called me oh but hospital where i was 3 times they didnt even replied to me emails
Thank u all for your replies
Keep trying...and might I suggest...
Call HR and see if there is a nurse recruiter...get a name.
When you go to drop your resume ask for the recruiter...or someone in HR that handles the interviews for RNs.
Tell them you are "here for the RN position"
Make certain you are dressed to impressed. You may just get an interview.

If you are an international graduate, do you have a visa that will permit you to work at this time?
This may cause you problems in getting hired at this time as well.
