Hello AN Community!!
I am FINALLY finishing up the BSN program. This is my last week of class and I graduate May 3rd. I transferred schools and my journey has been a total of 5 years. Let me tell you there have been ups and downs. Some days I just wanted to call it quits I was so frustrated. It seems so silly now. I have been doing a lot of reflecting on my experience and for every event I thought was negative, was truly positive!
I spent hundreds if not thousands in gas money for clinicals, BUT I gained so much experience and knowledge at my clinical sites.
I lost friends who could not accept my new time consuming program BUT I found out who my true friends are.
I spent countless hours studying away from the world BUT I learned the knowledge that will save lives!
I would rip my hair out being overwhelmed BUT it showed me that I CAN handle stress and whatever life throws at me.
Nursing school is trying, tough, and only the strong survive. Be so proud that you are embarking on that journey of becoming a nurse! I assure you the day will come that you will be DONE. Have faith and keep on keepin' on! :)

Thanks for this encouraging support.
I'm about to finish up my first semester of nursing school, & honestly it has felt like it's been an accelerated program between all the disorganization, chaos, & drama. Good luck to you in your career, I'm sure you'll make a great nurse!

Thank you for your insightful encouragement. I'm graduating soon, but in Liberal Arts Degree. I feel so grateful that I'm glad I didn't give up. However, I will be taking chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology classes for the nursing program.
Congratulations!
