also says the city's nurse-to-patient ratio at hospitals is a demanding 1.08 to 1 - much lower than the 1.4 or 1.7 nurses per patient in other cities.
Huh? 1 to 1 nurses to patients? That's a low ratio?

by the way, I would not be disappointed if I "capped out at 80,000" after only two years of school.
1:1 ratios sounds awesome.
