Hello, All! My packet for 66P AD packet is almost complete and will be submitted for the October Board, fingers crossed. Anyone else waiting for this board? How has your whole process been? Anyone who has previously undergone this experience is more than welcome to give input! Thanks!

I got approved for the course on 12/28--I was surprised too! I have had orders and have been drilling with my unit since June (Yes, I waited 6mo for orders after commissioning) but still have not been to DCC or BOLC.

Just to rant and vent:

My recruiter made a mistake on my contract when I swore in... Then THREE MORE TIMES he made mistakes that had to be fixed such as my length of service, my student loan repayment, and the DATE of all things. This pushed me back... I could have had it all submitted correctly in December when I swore in, but now it's mid-January... and the class following the feb. DCC has been moved so I can not go to the feb class. Now the next class is JUNE!!! thanks to his mistakes, I am now waiting an extra 6 months for the next possibility of a class. I'm glad for those of you who are in training this month or february but... insanely jealous. Anyone have news on their stations?

I had to resign my contract last week after swearing in last month as well. I did get a list of bases sent to me today to prioritize, so at least I know that there is movement happening. I am not a fan of waiting until June for classes either. It is amazing how slow this process has been. At this point I just want my orders for when and where.

So my class was 3 weeks and I’m active duty so they had to cram a bunch of stuff in, so the first two weeks were very long days. They put us in the 3 week class because of some changes with BOLC. The instructors are great and you will learn a lot. It’s definitely a culture shock but if you put forth effort you’ll be fine.

I'm just curious, for those of you who have already been to DCC and BOLC, at what point did you find out where your permanent duty station?

I'm active duty awaiting orders/duty station.

I submitted my wishlist of duty station twice and I should be finding out my duty station before basic (I'm OCONUS).
