Army AMEDD DCC 2021

New 1LT 66S here, awaiting orders from HRC (activation orders and commissioning already done). Can anyone who has completed Army DCC in the last year PLEASE shed some light on your experience? Especially about the daily PT, the APFT, the diagnostic ACFT, etc.  I see a lot of questions and answers about "when" people plan to go or what DCC is, but not any insight on the experience itself. Especially during COVID.

Thanks!

Thank you for this fb group, as I have been looking for something to get answers in!

anyway I’m a 66H reservist and go to DCC in June and BOLC in august. I already have seats in both. From looking at DCC’s fb page, they are still doing quarantine, but I think by June it may be over. Oklahoma lifted the mask mandate sooooo who knows if the army will follow.

My commission took a while too. I started the process in January 2019 and finally commissioned May 2020 and joined my unit November 2020.

You're welcome! Looks like I'll see you there! I'll be going to DCC 6/21 and then start BOLC July 13th. Just got my class registrations last week. No official orders yet but just that little glimmer of hope is enough to get my life planned for the next 2 months.

Yes, I have the same DCC report date, but for BOLC I report august 8th I believe. Is AD BOLC longer? That will be a quick turn around for you since we graduate DCC on July 12th LOL

And I’m coming from Germany, so I want orders and everything set up well in advance! They told me I won’t get orders until about 3 weeks out. My kids will be flying to the states with me, so I’m hoping they can get them to a little sooner than 3 weeks out.

Yep my AD BOLC is from 7/14-9/17. And yes, literally NO down/travel time ?. I think technically we will be done on 7/11 then can travel during the weekend.

I went to BOLC and DCC during the height of COVID in fall 2020 ? They did not require any PT of any kind to keep us socially distanced. We did a practice ACFT, which was just going through the motions of each event. It may have changed since then though.

I'm at my duty station now. But will definitely check it out for the 66S stuff!
