I just graduated in May and am a new LVN in Texas. I am from Arizona and want to move back home. I plan to continue my education, but am trying to decide whether to move back to AZ now and obtain my RN their, or finish here in TX. What is the job market like out there for a new LVN? I have been working at a clinic here for the last month. I know my experience is not going to help me at this point. I just want to return home. Any help or advice would be appreicated!

Depends on what your looking for. Banner hires LPN's at some of their hospitals, but you need to have experience. Nursing homes/snfs/ltc/clinics are abundant out here and are always hiring. And also some school districts hire lpn's as school nurses. I passed my lpn very recently and I had no problems getting a jobbie job.

Kindred or Promise, hire LPN's. They are LTACH's.

As above, they're also urgent cares, Jails, Prisons. Lot's of work if you want to come home to the desert

Gilbert Hospital uses new grads, LPNs, etc. They pay very well, too. Good luck.
