My resume is not the problem, I made sure again, with 12 people after my last post. They don't know what the problem is either. I always ace the interview, but I don't have any money to get to one now. Moved to a place with no public transportation again, sigh. You need money to look for a job, once you run out there is no hope. A New Grad could get a job faster than I can, I swear.
The flaw in my history, that I have been told about is the travel nursing. But, travel nurses on here say it isn't so. It all comes down to the recruiter, who isn't sending my resume to management, it doesn't even get that far. My question is who are these recruiters? I swear I have only worked with one who was a nurse. So if you are a manager, you wouldn't even see it.
I am just out of luck and I think facilities, organizations, etc. should stop being picky if there is a shortage going on. Which, I believe there isn't. You should see me going to the church for help, when they ask what I do or did. They say, "Oh a nurse's aid", and I say, "No a RN". I will probably have to work as something else and leave the nursing field. So I can get some money to pay for something.
I say the nursing industry has no love for me and it is their loss not mine, because I am a good nurse. Well, was a good nurse.
