Aria Health School of Nursing - Jan 11'

Just wanted to see who else was currently applying for the January 11' start date. My application is in RAP review as of today. I went in with like a 3.2GPA and did very well on my TEAS. I scored an 87% on it which put me in the 94th percentile nationwide. When I went on the interview I was told the TEAS score was very good and my GPA was good as well. I'm kind of bugging out. I want this so bad because I don't want to wait a whole year to re-apply for the fall classes. Finger's crossed. Anyone else out there applying now as well?

no, the graduation date they give you is including the PSU rotations so my not having to do them b/c of having brought in alot of classes moved me up in graduation time not back. But basically you can figure to be at the school from 8 to 4:30 everyday except the clinical days of 7-3. You need to be in class on time too, they have sign in and out sheets and you can only have a certain number of lates and/outs....its strict, but TONS of fun too...I have gotten lucky and been able to have a 1:00 start on mondays but that is not a for sure and my friends have been able to schedule mondays starting at 8:00 ending at 12:00, but for me I would rather be able to have more time to get my daughter to daycare.....Because its a rush to get her to daycare and then get to class on time other days :(

the nursing homes are various agencies thoughout the city that the school has contracts with, currently they are at PPH and Pauls Run

Oh okay. I think i would rather have a later start as well so i have time to get my son to school. Is there only one or two classes a day, like if my time is 1-430 is that ONE class or a few in one day? Im assuming you have no say in start time at all?

did anyone get their financial aid award letter yet? was hoping for it today, but it was about the uniforms :/

Oh ok. I havent heard anything about financial aid yet either but i got the uniform letter a few days ago. I cant believe how expensive they are! are they all mandatory before we start?

nah. ive had my associates degree from camden county college (NJ) for over a year now. ive been procrastinating on nursing school for years now. but now im ready :) just hoping most classes transfer. like the sheet they gave us, it says they want a 4 CREDIT statistics class. the one i took was 3 credit. :( hope i dont have to take that again cuz we all know statistics SUCKS. :)

Hello everyone, I am also starting in January but I did not receive a letter about purchasing uniforms. When and where do we have to buy them? I think I have to give the school a call tomorrow.

i got mine in the mail yesterday. dont worry about it hun, it was just a list of prices and we will fit them and order them on the 2nd orientation day dec 9th. its gonna cost like 3-400 roughly. i didnt add it up. but u gotta buy them dec 9
