Aria Health School of Nursing - Jan 11'

Published

Just wanted to see who else was currently applying for the January 11' start date. My application is in RAP review as of today. I went in with like a 3.2GPA and did very well on my TEAS. I scored an 87% on it which put me in the 94th percentile nationwide. When I went on the interview I was told the TEAS score was very good and my GPA was good as well. I'm kind of bugging out. I want this so bad because I don't want to wait a whole year to re-apply for the fall classes. Finger's crossed. Anyone else out there applying now as well?

yay thats so exciting. Ok so as it gets closer i get more anxious and after signing in as a student I found out what classes transferred so i made like a schedule for myself. Im not sure if it will go as planned but this is what I was thinking in terms of semesters:

nursing 110 / clinical

bio 297 a

nutrition 251

cas 100

nursing 111

bio 297 b

ndfs 129

n351

nursing 210

soc 01

statistics 200

management 100

nursing 211

nursing 497

math 35

bio 297 c

nursing 310

humanities elective

art of theatre 105

music 09

nursing 311

nursing 312

nursing 313

This is the most logical way i can think of for a schedule at least for myself. This puts me at 7 semester including the classes needed for the associates. so thats about 23 months, possible graduation dec 2012?

man youre really getting into it!!! hehehe :) I just sent out my transfer paper today so I dont know what classes of mine are gonna be accepted yet. Did they deny any of yours???

I received my financial award today. Bummed I didnt get higher grants, but ill be ok.

I didnt get a paper about what classes were accepted yet but when I logged in as a student I saw which classes they accepted, they only accepted 23 credits - they didnt take math 118, sociology 101 or nutrition so I am going to see why because I know at least in the case of my friend when she went there, they accepted soc and math 118. I remember reading somewhere that nutrition has to be taught by one of their teachers.

I got my financial aid letter too - it was just about the pell grant and SEOG grant. I am currently going to CCP now taking my last two classes and I had already recieved my award letter from them for January and my grants were higher for CCP which doesnt make sense because the cost of attendance is lower there.

Hi everyone,

I am new to this website, but I have found it to be very helpful. I am looking to apply to the Aria School of Nursing because the college I currently attend has, so many applicants and alot of competition. THose of you that were accepted, I need to know what was your TEAS score and GPA to be considered for the program? Thanks in advance

connorsmom what is ccp? I think they accept your nutrition class if it was taught by a registered dietician only. I cant remember where i read that. and to the other person that commented, i cant remember ur name cuz im on my cell phone but anyways, ill send u a personal msg about my scores when i get home to my computer. To anyone else reading this, im your average student and i applied already having an associates degree.

CCP is community college of philadelphia.

oh ok. im from new jersey

oh ok, what part of jersey do you live in

south jersey, camden county. it takes me like, 15-20 mins to get to aria. right over the bridge.

yeah thats close - did u sign in under student and see what classes they are accepting?

not yet cuz i just mailed it out saturday with the medical forms. it was one of the last papers i did because that paper didnt have any direct instruction and i wasnt sure what i was supposed to do with it. i had to call Aisha and ask. so im sure i wont know for like a week till the update in the system. they wont get it in the mail till tomorow so.....

just hope they take them all or atleast MOST. i took nutrition too, my teacher was the head of the nutrition department, so i hope they accept it. if not oh well, gotta do what ya gotta do ya know.
