Just wanted to see who else was currently applying for the January 11' start date. My application is in RAP review as of today. I went in with like a 3.2GPA and did very well on my TEAS. I scored an 87% on it which put me in the 94th percentile nationwide. When I went on the interview I was told the TEAS score was very good and my GPA was good as well. I'm kind of bugging out. I want this so bad because I don't want to wait a whole year to re-apply for the fall classes. Finger's crossed. Anyone else out there applying now as well?
I didnt get a paper about what classes were accepted yet but when I logged in as a student I saw which classes they accepted, they only accepted 23 credits - they didnt take math 118, sociology 101 or nutrition so I am going to see why because I know at least in the case of my friend when she went there, they accepted soc and math 118. I remember reading somewhere that nutrition has to be taught by one of their teachers.I got my financial aid letter too - it was just about the pell grant and SEOG grant. I am currently going to CCP now taking my last two classes and I had already recieved my award letter from them for January and my grants were higher for CCP which doesnt make sense because the cost of attendance is lower there.
If your nutrition class was not taught by a registered dietician they will not accept it. I had to get a letter from my teacher at my college stating her degree and a course description from my college. I took it to Karen the registrar and then they accepted it. No big deal..... Good Luck
yay thats so exciting. Ok so as it gets closer i get more anxious and after signing in as a student I found out what classes transferred so i made like a schedule for myself. Im not sure if it will go as planned but this is what I was thinking in terms of semesters:nursing 110 / clinical
bio 297 a
nutrition 251
cas 100
nursing 111
bio 297 b
ndfs 129
n351
nursing 210
soc 01
statistics 200
management 100
nursing 211
nursing 497
math 35
bio 297 c
nursing 310
humanities elective
art of theatre 105
music 09
nursing 311
nursing 312
nursing 313
This is the most logical way i can think of for a schedule at least for myself. This puts me at 7 semester including the classes needed for the associates. so thats about 23 months, possible graduation dec 2012?
I did this exact same thing......But now they have my clinical from next semester conflicting with the only PSU courses that I have left......Advanced Pharm and Nursing informatics.......UGGH.....I was complaining in the hall about it and then there was a sign saying some course times were under review.....I hope they are going to change......It sucks.....that is why they force people to have to take PSU rotations and not have nursing semesters......But I REFUSE to sit out and take a PSU rotation for one class, first off it would make me not a full time student and would mess up my financial aid...... I need a break I have 2 more weeks of this semester.....cant wait to finish 210!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the stats was not a 4 credit class, you will be repeating it! But, on the bright side Mr O is awesome, he loves to talk about gambling, casinos and Boardwalk Empire.......
