Are Dansko shoes really that great?

I'm about to buy a new pair of shoes for nursing school and Ive heard Dansko shoes are the best. Is this true? For those that own a pair of the Professional style and/or Marcelle style, can you please comment on them. Thanks!

Everyone kept swearing about them, so I went and tried some on. I hated them! First, they were slightly different sizes from one foot to the other, even though they said 42 on both. THe clerk said that can happen as they are hand-made. Ok. So we finally find some that fit both feet, and I still hated them. THey have no "give" to them, and I kept worrying I was going to turn my ankle in them. I guess I was meant to wear sneakers. :o
