ARC / SCC Fall 2017

Hello everyone. I wanted to start a discussion for people who have applied to ARC , SCC, or both for the fall 2017 class. Applications for both schools are due at the end of the month. I applied for both, praying I get excepted. Anyhow, say hello and stay in touch with updates, info. Etc....

Today is officially 8 weeks since the deadline- so I think by the end of this week we should hear something.

Hello, me and my Wife (both applied for nursing) haven't heard anything from ARC yet.

I haven't heard anything either. I was alternative #5 for spring2017. Does anyone know how that works? I was told that alternatives are guaranteed a spot in the following semester as long as they reapplied. Then I heard that it's lottery and starts all over again. I'm so confused.

Question: It's been 8 weeks since the application has closed and I have not received a notification/email regarding my status. What's the delay?

Answer: Students can check their application status at any time by logging into eServices. The Nursing Department notifies student status via the Los Rios Gmail. If you have set your preferences to have your Los Rios Gmail forward your messages to another email address, you might need to add [email protected] (Nursing Application) to your contact list. Otherwise, your provider may deem our bulk email as spam.

--> It is soooo tempting to email them and ask! It's been 8 weeks and 2 days.... Spring 2017 were notified on the 6th week. :-(

I was thinking of sending them an e-mail as well. It's just torture having to wait so long!

I did... It sent an auto-reply that they will get back to me 3-5 days. LOL
