ARC/SCC ADN FALL 2019

Hi Everyone!!! I didn't see a thread for Fall 2019, so I figured I'd get the ball rolling. This is my first time applying to both SCC and ARC. I turned in my paper packets on 2/11 and 2/13. SCC updated my status to received this morning. I plan to also apply at Delta, but would really prefer acceptance at ARC or SCC. 

Hear back as in who was selected?? Wow that fast or another type of notification??

What?! I just got butterflies all over again! I applied to ARC, SCC, Sierra and Yuba. I got accepted to Yuba, but Sierra is my first choice, mainly due to location

Yes, we'll find out tomorrow, on if we are accepted. But the woman also said if you don't receive an email tomorrow (which usually goes to your personal email you put on your application) don't lose hope because last year they went through the waitlist and kept going for a few weeks, pulling people from the lottery. I don't know how many people were accepted after the waitlist but it's not completely hopeless if we don't get in. I'm hoping to get accepted too, because I don't want to have to drive so far to go to another school. Best of luck to you!!

Is there a time they usually notify?? This is my first time applying to sierra

I just read from the other forum it's throughout the day. They will notify acceptances and waitlist I believe all that same day. This is my first time applying there too, but not my first time with other programs. I'm hoping to get a yes. This is stressful waiting. Good luck to you!

Ive applied to Arc twice last year, i had all of their prereqs done and was currently takimg other prereqs last spring so couldnt apply to other schools, so this is my first time applying to multiple schools, Thanks Good luck to you as well

Why would they update during spring recess? Do they work during recess?

I think the schools staff as far as keeping the school up and running continue to work. When I dropped my application off last week, this is what one of the women in the Nursing Office said. I hope we all find out today, I know I'm dying over here, waiting to hear. Good luck!

I got my acceptance email from Sierra at around 1:30! Keep checking your emails guys! Congrats to my peers who got accepted and good luck to the rest of you!
