ARC/SCC ADN FALL 2019

Hi Everyone!!! I didn't see a thread for Fall 2019, so I figured I'd get the ball rolling. This is my first time applying to both SCC and ARC. I turned in my paper packets on 2/11 and 2/13. SCC updated my status to received this morning. I plan to also apply at Delta, but would really prefer acceptance at ARC or SCC. 

Qualified at 1645.

Hey everyone,

It's my first semester applying to nursing programs. I chose ARC, Delta, and Sierra. I've been invited to submit supporting documents to Delta and my status just changed to qualified at ARC. I haven't heard anything from Sierra as of yet.

Does anyone know how many people applied to ARC and SCC?

I turned in my supplemental apps to ARC and SCC Feb 27th morning, 1 day before the last day. I was 145 at SCC and 283 at ARC. I assume this doesn’t include mailed in apps, as these were signed in names.

And someone on another forum said Sierra had somewhere around 130 last week! Today is the last day they’re accepting apps there. FYI for anyone else that applied to Sierra.

Why so Much less at Scc? 26th is 8weeks, who do you guys think will notify first ARC or scc??

I just turned my Sierra Application in, and it was in the 140's, but this was the middle of last week. Sierra College said we will hear back from them this week! Cool thing about their program is that if you get waitlisted, you're automatically accepted next year. Then again, I don't know if I would want to wait another year to get in. I'm waiting to hear back from 5 Nursing schools.

A good thing to remember is not everyone who applies, actually qualifies. But I know it's still a lot of people applying for a limited amount of spots.

Wow! This week for notification from Sierra?!?! I’m surprised they would notify while on spring break. Very cool though! Good luck everyone!!

Yeah, I saw that too. ?
I spoke with one of the ladies in the office, and she said it would be tomorrow, but we'll see. I just hope to hear good news. It's been a year in the making to get accepted somewhere. Did you apply to Sierra college too?
