ARC/SCC ADN FALL 2019

Hi Everyone!!! I didn't see a thread for Fall 2019, so I figured I'd get the ball rolling. This is my first time applying to both SCC and ARC. I turned in my paper packets on 2/11 and 2/13. SCC updated my status to received this morning. I plan to also apply at Delta, but would really prefer acceptance at ARC or SCC.

Don’t feel bad. Many students try multiple years before they get in and many of them have good grades. All the schools in California are super impacted. If you don’t mind relocating you will have more options and you can apply to chamberlain in Sac if you don’t mind a private school.

Relocating isn’t an option as we have a business here.

I am in the process of applying to Chamberlain.

I don’t think I can commute. I have a 13 month old and I barely get any help to watch him. It will be hard for me to study let along spend hours on commute :(

I think chamberlain puts more emphasis on the hesi vs gpa. I was accepted last year with a 3.7. Many other ppl I talked to had similar GPAs but only ppl with higher Hesi scores were offered a seat. It’s easier than the TEAS and Kaplan imo. Brush up on your basic bio for it. Good luck

Don't give up hope. We will all get in somewhere! I will be applying to Solano in September and reapplying to ARC and SCC next year. We will get there, it is our DREAM! Take a breath and pick yourself up and keep going! Our time will come!!

Anybody on here end up declining their acceptance to Sierra RN program by chance once they found out they got into ARC or SCC? Lol I’m on their alternate list and definitely am crossing my fingers tighter to get in now that I didn’t get into any other program.

Got email this morning saying I wasn’t selected for ARC so going Thursday to accept my offer with SCC Fall 19!

I was waitlisted for the BSN program I applied to. I’ve decided to accept my offer at SCC and decline my offer to ARC. I hope my spot can be given to an alternate here. Best of luck everyone!!

Does ur eservices still say “ application recieved” for SCC?
