APU MSN-FNP Spring 2021

Hi! I'm currently applying to Azusa Pacific University's traditional MSN with FNP specialty for Spring 2021. I wanted to see if there are any applicants out there so we can chat or APU NP grads who went through the experience to maybe help out with some insight. Any responses would be much appreciated!!

I applied recently and just waiting for two more transcripts to go through and my LOR to go through as well. I’m nervous, but I’m ready for my next part of the journey as a nurse!

Hello everyone! I also applied for APU FNP Spring 2021. Has anyone heard anything or know when we might get any news? Also to the few that were offered fall 2020 admission, did you guys accept?

I actually didn’t accept for the Fall 2020. So I’ll be waiting for next year Spring!

submitted my application a few days before the July 31st deadline for Spring 2021, but received a call saying my application will be processed for Fall 2021 instead. Wondering if there are too many applicants and considerations were already given to those applied early on

Hi guys!

I submitted FNP application for Spring 2021 in APU. I am wondering if anyone has heard from them regarding admission decisions.

Also, how competitive is it the admission?

Regarding the job market, is FNP better than PMHNP?

I applied to the FNP Spring 2021 Program at APU as well! Does anyone know around when to expect an admission decision from APU? How long does it usually take before they send out the decision letters?

I applied for Spring 2021. I heard that since they pushed back the application date, we won't hear until mid November.

Hi, I applied for the Spring 2021 term and I'm interviewing tomorrow morning via ZOOM. Has anyone interviewed yet for this cohort? It took them a while to get back to me to schedule an interview, like months!

Congrats! I haven’t heard anything from them, not even to schedule an interview. I wasn’t sure when they would start reviewing applications.

Thanks. I'm so nervous! Hopefully everyone hears back from them soon. I honestly probably applied back in early May so it took them a long time. I had to follow up multiple times to get updates but it seems COVID has affected their process tremendously.
