There is an acceptance deadline into the program for me by the end of next week so until then they'll probably make some more adjustments and continue to interview until they fill their spots. Good luck everyone!

Has anyone spoken to their rep about their application/interview? I'm curious to know why they haven't updated you guys, according to what a handful of you are saying.

Thank you! So it was via ZOOM scheduled for 30min but mine lasted for an hour since we just chatted it up! I had one of the professors of the program interview me with basic questions like, "why do you want to become an NP; what makes an NP different than an MD; why APU?" so preparing your answers would definitely help. The professor told me right away whether or not I'd be a good candidate. She also told me that if I didn't get in with this cohort that it's not because I wasn't good enough for their program, but that mainly it's due to the fact that they had sooooo many candidates applying for this period and they are limited to their decision. It was a very comfortable interview - professional yet personable which I appreciated. I can tell the faculty really care about their students. Thank you! Keep your head up and continue moving forward!!

Just received my acceptance call and email this afternoon! I'm hoping you all hear from them soon. This has seriously been an arduous journey for all of us.

Thanks. I'm so nervous! Hopefully everyone hears back from them soon. I honestly probably applied back in early May so it took them a long time. I had to follow up multiple times to get updates but it seems COVID has affected their process tremendously.
