What campus did you guys apply to and did the advisor give you a date for when determinations would be made? She told me September for the main campus but reading other blogs the summer cohorts sometimes hear back by August...
@mrsbostrom The advisor was very nice. It was very relaxed with a few bursts of laughter but was still conducted like an interview. Like you, I felt positive after the interview but I don't want to think I'm already admitted to the program.
@ajwri84 I applied to the IE location. I was told I should hear back by end of August. How did your appointment go?
@indpndnt I think my appt went great, feel the same way about it as you... trying not to think it's in the bag! I did ask if there was anything I could do to make my application stronger for next time if I'm not admitted and she told me I was very strong in all areas. So, that's either a great sign or she just didn't want to deal with my question :). Did you put yourself out there for other campuses? I told her IE was my second choice so I'm hoping I just get in somewhere.
Quick question - if cohort start date is May 2015, would we be done with the BSN portion by the end of 2016 with the inclusion of the preceptorship? I guess I can ask APU but just in case anyone else had this knowledge......
Hey guys I applied for spring 2015 and ended up getting into the Summer 2015 at the Inland Empire Campus I paid my deposit a while ago and last time I spoke to Tracy at the IE campus she said the cohort was still being built and that was a few months ago so I wonder if the cohort is full now!
Has anyone else received further correspondence? I'm assuming I wont receive anything for a bit longer since i'm seeing some of you talk about acceptance notifications coming at the end of august so I guess I will have to continue to be patient
Congratulations, that's so exciting! Nothing yet over here! Time couldn't seemingly be going any more slowly. I'll let you know if I receive any more correspondence.
Hi everyone! I am so happy and sad at the same time to see this thread has so many comments! I didn't get any notifications and when I was checking in the first few weeks I posted it, there was nothing! So excited to not be alone! I have been patiently waiting now for 3 years to apply so I am super eager. I am thinking by the notifications from last years threads that we should hear back in just about 2 weeks. Last year the board met and sent emails and letters out the next day. Fingers crossed for all of you! Is anyone actually from LA or the IE? I am from where the main campus is, Monrovia and I went to college at UC Riverside so I am happy to go back home, finally! Really excited to see you all and hope to keep in touch as the application process finishes up!
I live in murrieta so im close but not as close as I'd like to be! Ill be commuting but I already commute from san diego to murrieta for work so I'm pretty used to it. Good luck to all of you still waiting to hear!
