Published

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in the process of applying to APU's ELM program for Spring 2020. Applications aren't due until Feb. 1st but I'm hoping this thread will help fellow applicants get connected throughout the process :)

I chose APU because you graduate with two degrees and they have an intense rotation at the end of the bachelor’s portion that prepares you for your new RN role. I have several friends that attend each of the programs three campuses and they can’t say enough good things about the program!

They called me yesterday to schedule an interview! None of the dates for next week worked, so they said they'd let me know next week when they add new interview slots for April! It seems that they're rolling out the interviews pretty slowly ?

Do you mind me asking what are your stats (prerequisites GPA, overall GPA?

Best of luck!

R u asking me? I haven’t been accepted or given an interview. This is for the IE campus. My grades r ok, my grades from my BA wasn’t great, It was 10 yrs ago. But all the science classes I’ve received all As.

Hello, I applied to the IE too. When you say they will contact us by May with decisions, do you mean for interviews or with the final decisions. I am just getting really anxious. Have not heard from them yet.

IE may not be doing interviews this time around, just a speculation. But final decisions will come sometime in May.

Hi Everyone! I am also getting pretty anxious as well. Haven't heard from them either ;(. I applied to the IE location and is curious if the main campus call or email more often? Also wanted to know if it was group or individual interview? Lastly, to anyone who've done the interview already, did you guys have the opportunity to speak to current students in the program, as well as, all the staff members? Wishing everyone a good luck, Thank you!

The interview is individual with a professor or program director, one-on-one. The only way to speak with current students is if you know someone in the program.

Does anyone have an idea of the stats of those who get accepted into the program? (GPA, experience, etc.)? I know it's different for each campus and term, but I was just wondering in general ?

I don’t know the general Stats but from what I have read it seems like all kind of applicants have been submitted and/or given an interview. I got an interview at the IE On the 17tj of April notified via email, wish me luck guys. I’m really nervous.
