APU ELM Spring 2020

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in the process of applying to APU's ELM program for Spring 2020. Applications aren't due until Feb. 1st but I'm hoping this thread will help fellow applicants get connected throughout the process :)

Did anyone hear back for interviews for the main Azusa campus yet?

@un26 I don’t think anyone has heard back for the main campus but I did my interview yesterday for San Diego and my interviewer told me that they will be doing interviews well into April for all of the campuses

Hi Everyone! I interviewed, too, on Friday for the San Diego campus. Beautiful facility and right across from a UFC gym with plenty of parking. Interviewer also said that admission decisions will be sent out sometime end of April (I’m assuming after Easter break), and that the university will conduct interviews all the way until mid April. Hello! I just received a call around 2PM today for my interview for the SD location! I was wondering how did the interview go for you? What kind of questions did they ask you? I am currently debating if I should do an in-person interview or a webcam interview because I am located out in the LA area and the drive is pretty far. Thank you!

I had my interview online for San Diego and the questions weren’t too bad. I was asked why APU, how do I handle stress, if I’ve thought about what I need to sacrifice for this program, and if I have any faith-based experience. A lot of the interview was also just going over the program itself and reviewing the documents that were emailed to us.

Thank you so much! I decided to do an online interview. But my interview is not scheduled until next month around mid April LOL I was hoping it would be sooner but that's ok. It will give me more time to prep my interview. Do you know when we will generally hear back from SD Admissions?

My interviewer said we should hear back by the end of April or first week of May :)

Hi! The same questions were asked for me as well, such as how I handle stress, my faith, and why I want to get into the nursing profession. The interview also had parts where the professor went over the program-- the scope, sequence, and costs. It was quite informative.

They called me yesterday to schedule an interview! None of the dates for next week worked, so they said they'd let me know next week when they add new interview slots for April! It seems that they're rolling out the interviews pretty slowly ?
