APU ELM Spring 2020

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in the process of applying to APU's ELM program for Spring 2020. Applications aren't due until Feb. 1st but I'm hoping this thread will help fellow applicants get connected throughout the process :)

I have known people to get into this program with all sorts of GPA's and backgrounds. Me personally, I think what did it was my resumé, letter of intent, and most importantly my interview. I received a call for my interview about four weeks after I submitted my app. But, I see you applied for SD and they usually get back to people earlier! I'm sure you'll do wonderfully!

I submitted my application for the SD campus on Jan. 13th (all items received) and I haven’t heard anything yet but I know it’s still early. I’m also in Northern California and I’m debating whether to do the interview via Skype or fly out to do it in person... I wonder if it would make a difference at all...

im also in Northern CA and wondering the same thing? Do you know when they plan to conduct the interviews for the San Diego campus?

Hello! I applied to the APU ELM spring 2020, and always open for any cohort so happy to hear that some of the applicants got called to roll over their applications and accepted later ?

Was wondering if anyone heard back about interviews so far? I submitted my application on 1/29, and received confirmation that everything was received. Just anxious!

I spoke with a program representative today for the San Diego campus. He said they’ve received a high volume of applicants for this cycle and that it could be about 4 weeks until we hear back for interviews... yikes I don’t want to wait that long lol. I don’t know how long it will take for main campus, though.

I have my interview with the San Diego campus this Wednesday. Has anyone else heard back for interviews?

congrats!! I have not heard back yet, hoping they call. Did they call you today? When I emailed the rep last week she said they will be scheduling through March and April for interviews with final decisions going out by end of April. good luck everyone.

I just got an email for an interview with the SD campus too. I had to call to schedule it but it went to voicemail so I’ll try again later. Good luck everyone!

They called me on Monday morning ?

FYI they called me Monday morning and didn’t leave a voicemail and I didn’t answer ??‍♀️ so they emailed me to call them on Tuesday afternoon. Everyone stay by your phones! The number that called me was from Glendora.

got the call today around noon! scheduled my interview for April 8th. woo!
