APU ELM Spring 2020

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in the process of applying to APU's ELM program for Spring 2020. Applications aren't due until Feb. 1st but I'm hoping this thread will help fellow applicants get connected throughout the process :)

I just called and they told me the same thing about early May and that they are still conducting interviews, but I have not been invited to even interview yet soooooo......i am hoping to know soon so i know if i should accept or declines LLU acceptance.

I’m on the same boat too. Just got accepted to LLU. Still hoping to hear back from APU for an interview soon before accepting. ?

Is APU ur top choice? Can u tell me y? I’m still debating. Loma Linda Offers a lot of opportunities and loan forgiveness etc.

Yes, APU is my top choice. I like that the BSN will be done sooner than in LLU & the it also includes the graduate program. & there’s the added expense relocating closer to LLU verses APU main campus which is not far away. Both are great schools!

Hello, I just finished my interview with Beverly Kelley yesterday and it went really smoothly! Very friendly and she made me feel really comfortable. She just went over my pre-reqs and my experience. She also went over the programs classes and what to expect of the program. She said that I will hear back end of May but all campuses are collaborating early May. Does anyone know if they are still conducting interviews?

Hi @V.ct.r.a!!

I emailed the San Diego Regional Campus' program director a few days ago, and she stated that applicants from San Diego will hear back sometime early May. They are still conducting interviews at this moment in time.

I just had my interview at the IE campus today. I was told that we would hear back at the end of May. Hopefully it’s sooner.

Well i didn’t even get an interview. But it’s ok. I decided to go to a diff program.

I am in the same boat as @MyNameIsSammy, did not get an interview as well. I still have a shed of hope, because I really want APU. but I was wondering @Sunny16whem did they notified you about the interview?

APU was my first choice too! But after a lot of thinking I don’t think a masters in the my future. Now I’m stuck taking a research methods class I hate! ??

I applied to the SD campus and received a call today but didn’t answer because I was sleeping after my night shift. They left a voicemail saying they were calling “regarding your admission” so I’ll call back in the morning. I don’t want to get ahead of myself but it looks like they are starting to make phone calls!
