Hello,
I am currently in the process of applying to APU's ELM Nursing program for the the Fall of 2019. Applications are not due until October 1st, however I feel like this forum might help as a sort of support group for one another as we reach towards our goal as future NPs!
Hi Edelizabeth2! I read your post regarding APU receiving 80 applicants for Fall 2019 and was wondering if this is for the San Diego Campus?
I had my interview already and was told decisions would come out in February....at your interview, did they mention decisions would be released in December?
Thank you for your response! Best of luck!!
Hi JF093,
I believe the 80 applicants were mainly for the San Diego Campus.
Oh, I was told that I would be informed by December, but I read a lot of forums that San Diego is typically faster with the response rates than the other APU's campus.
No problem, thank you! :) Good Luck to you as well!
Hi futurern1928,
Yes, I recently had my interview and the interviewee was really straightforward for the most part. After your interview - did you have a feeling you would potentially get accepted? What I mean by that is - did the interviewer let you know that they may accept you on another term potentially or any interesting questions and statements they made that made you know that you had a potential to be accepted for the following term? I really hope I get accepted, but there's always the possibility that there are candidates that excelled in their undergrad and with the following requirements. :) I would appreciate your thoughts on that! thank you!

I interviewed and got accepted a term earlier, I applied for spring and was accepted fall. I was asked during my interview if a spot was open was I willing to start early and of course I said yes. I was definitely very nervous during the interview and felt I did good. The individuals in my cohort vary in GPA, life experience and work experience. They really take into consideration the whole picture and your interview plays a big role as well.

If you applied to main campus they always take longer than all the other campuses.
Hi Futurern1928,
I greatly appreciate your response and I'm really glad to hear how your interview went! It makes a lot more sense to me and it gives me a more hopefully feeling that perhaps I have hope.
How do you like your experience so far at APU? Are there any expenses that you were surprised about? One of my friends got accepted to another schools ELM MSN program and he had a lot of unexpected expenses that he was surprised about.
Thank you once again for your time and help! :)

Hi @K.Rae - Thank you so much for your kind feedback! I am honestly very nervous and stoked for my interview! Hope that I do well and don't feel too stressed before the Interview, I will try to be as relaxed as possible!
Also, do you know if anyone started a Facebook Group for Fall 2019?
Also- I heard that there were only 80 applicants they were expecting and there should be exactly 20 spots more or less. I also heard that we will be notified end of this December whether we are accepted or rejected from the program.
