APU ELM for Fall 2014

Hi there! I also am currently applying for the fall program. I have my over-the-phone interview/academic advising session here in 3 hours. I have completed the writing prompt. Do you know how their selection process works, is it a point based system? Congrats on applying!

Hi TtotheAna! That's so exciting that you have your interview today...where are you from? I had my interview last week...nothing to worry about. The person who I interviewed with sent a video to watch before the interview to answer some questions and I think I remember them mentioning somewhat of a point system. I think they do include your extracurriculars, personal statement and interview in the equation, rather than just GPA. I know there is a ranking system because they take the top 20, plus 5 extra in case people decide not to attend. I should have asked more about it in my interview. I also got an interview last week. It went well. Does the interviewer give u any paper besides the advising paper that you have to initial?

I applied for the Fall 2014 program too. I turned in my application a little over a week ago so I hope to hear soon!

Did they say when they would have final decisions?

@drm2013...she said that final decisions should go out by january 15th

My interviewer said that the decision will make before school closes for holidays. So, I am not sure. Hope everything goes well

I also get physical assessment paper. I asked people who get into Fall 2013. after they got accepted, they would receive that paper. They said if we get physical paper in the interview, we have a good chance to get in. So, I am really worried what is going on. The cycle closes this week.

hey guys! The woman I interviewed with said the admissions committee is meeting on December 13th or 14th to make decisions for the Fall 2014 cohort. Cross my fingers we all get in!
