Hi, I am new to the boards. I recently took NCLEX RN and Pearson Vue disqualified by results because of a calculator issue during the exam. Did anyone else experience this issue? if so what are you doing about it? They are granting me a new exam for free, but i think it isnt fair because i finished in 75 questions

I wonder what "calculator issue" means? How many questions did you have to use the calculator on?
Unfortunately, Pearson VUE is very cautious about the integrity of the exam, so if they say you need to take it again, you need to take it again. I'm glad it's free.
Think of it this way- You had the world's best practice exam! No one else gets to take the NCLEX once before their actual test. If you finished and passed in 75 questions the first time, I find it impossible to believe you won't also pass the second time. What an annoying situation! Best of luck to you!
The calculator issue that I had was it wasn't there.

i had multiple pearson technical issues while taking my test. i know misterchips did as well and a few other people.
who contacted you about your retake? i called pearson to follow up on my complaint i had made over the tech. issues and they directed me to national council for nursing. ?
i heard back today and my request was denied for a retake from pearson. they stated the technical problems did not impact any of the tests and no retakes were going to be issued to anyone testing april 2. and they did not address any of the issues directly nor would they comment on how many questions were answered. they just said that the test is not based off how many you answer (which i already know) its on how well you do....i give up guess i will be paying more $$$$
so any help would be great. anyone who was given a retake due to technical issues would you please let me know who you contacted or who contacted you.
