April NCLEX-PN Takers: Please Post Your Thoughts

Published

Hi Everyone,

The buzz, as we all know, is that the exam is going to have a higher passing standard as of today. However, I also read that the questions will be revised for clarity, which sounds good to me. It would be so helpful if those who take the new version of the NCLEX-PN exam would please post your thoughts about the test here, after you take it. Please let us know how the test has changed (more alternate format? Higher level of difficulty?). Also, which books, cd's or study guides/programs were most like the actual exam or most helpful. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! :) Thanks!

MP706,

Are the drag and drops pretty much common sense??? And how difficult where the SATA questions??

testing on the 18th and very very afraid !!!!

The 2 drag and drops weren't extremely difficult, and they weren't necessarily common sense. I always get confused on them because there's always a step I mix up and I was worried bout that. But my questions after them were pretty hard so I guess I got them right. My SATA were a bit harder though. Most of them were about the same topic, just different circumstances. I struggled with some of them because I don't usually get those right either. I got a lot of them back to back, and they seemed to get harder. Every time I felt like I was doing well, I got a SATA. I for sure thought I failed but I didn't. If I could go back, I would study infection control til my eyes fell out.

Bump thread up : )
