Hi, quick question if anyone has experience... I just began probation and have to get a mental health/ physical examination and it is time sensitive.... good news I attended my first nursing support group and got a referral from which all the nurses have gone to... however, it states in my pre-orientation packet that I must get board approval first of the physician... any chance anyone knows who this is suppose to be sent to.... is it my probation monitor, the enforcement department, or??? States I must send physicians resume/curriculum vitae (had to look that one up)... so confused as I'm not suppose to contact my monitor before orientation but I have to get this done by a certain date...... any input is appreciated.
Hi, just stumbled upon your post while searching for information regarding the CA BON probation and was wondering if you were still active and able to help me with some of my questions. I just got my mail packet of decision and order from the board. How long did the probation monitor contact you after that? And was it through email?
Thank you so much

It's been a long time since I did this - but there is a list of approved providers somewhere on CABRN websight.

I just received my contract and signed it and sent it back. They are having me enroll in TPAPN, which is monitoring. That is why I need the evaluation, etc.
It has been a long haul and I am ready for it to be over. Yes, I too love being sober. It makes life easier. I have an 8 year old granddaughter who has never (and hopefully never will) see me drunk. For that, I am very grateful. I am not a "God" person or religious in any way (think old hippie), but, I do thank the Universe on a daily basis.
