Applying for UIC DNP...

Hi all! I am applying for the DNP program at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with a primary care AGNP specialty. Does anyone have any suggestions on building a strong application? I have worked mostly on a med/surg unit and a surgical step down for the past 4 years (as an active duty RN). I have been on 2 deployments. My undergrad GPA was 3.55. Any suggestions are welcome as I am stressing out about the application process, separation from the military, and a move back to Chicago. Thank you!

I just called. They said they should be sending out decisions on the 15th. I hope thats true I'm getting so antsy!

Yes, UIC was the only school I applied to.

I wonder if the Admissions portal thing will be updated with our status before they send out decisions next week. Does anyone know?

I think they will notify through e-mail whether accepted or not.

Still no updates on the admissions portal! I hate this waiting game.

UIC is not the only school I applied to, but it is the one B&M one where I applied. It's also the only DNP program. The other two I applied to are online MSN programs.
