Applying @ OC nursing schools 2013-2014 entry

Hello Everyone ~

I wanted to start a new thread of conversation for people that have completed their pre-req courses & can now start the application process for nursing school. I am currently getting my paperwork & applications completed & submitting them to Saddleback, GWC & Long Beach City Colleges. Any advice or discussion in this process of preparation & waiting would be greatly appreciated. It's been a long process but finally able to apply. Yippie!! It'll take a miracle for me to get in anywhere (hoping for lower enrollment) due to my low TEAS score:wacky: but you never know!!

I know for sure that Saddleback is not ready to send out let's yet. So, no, no letter here of any kind ;)

Letters of acceptance are going out this month for fall so it could be anyday. I've heard it's usually mid month.

Rumor has it that the committee did not get together for the final decisions yet. I would count on at least ten more days :)

I am in -------------'s pharmacology class this semester and last week she told us that they (she is part of the selection team) were finalizing their picks and sending out letters at the end of the following week, which would be this week. I'd say it's safe to say we should be receiving our letters by the beginning of next week! (May 20th or so) Good luck to all of us! :)

Hey, look at my prediction ;)

I heard from a friend who is in the other pharma class when they were meeting so that is where my estimate came from. Are you doing other classes as well at the moment? How is pharmacology going? I am glad I have that out of the way, it is such an enormous amount of work!
