@ onedayanurse,

Have you heard anything yet? did u receive the packet

Hi Francine,

I spoke with Mrs. * today she said the packages were going out today....She said well have two weeks to get all our paperwork in (that's if your doing the summer program)...I called to make a Dr"s appointment because I know I need a physical and shots, and they couldn't get me in till next week. I hope I can get everything done in time. I have no idea what shots are going to be required. Have you decided yet?

Thank you everyone for the advice/support I will be sure to fill you all in after Friday's appointment! Thanks again everyone !!!

P.S. i'll be meeting with Mrs. *

Hi Mandi,

Mrs. *is great!! Just be yourself.. I received my package today, and WOW! that's all could say. There is so much to do within the next two weeks. I will be running around like a little beaver, however, I will not complain this is a dream come true for me. Post after your interview and let us know how you did. I'm sure you will be fine..

Hey Nancy,

Have you received a letter yet?:D

@hair303

First, I would like to congradulate everyone on their acceptance to nursing schools...It's a long process...

@Hair303, I read in one of your previous posts that you attend MCC...is that Middlesex County College & are you in their Nursing Program? If you are, would you be so kind as to giving me some feedback on how you like it? I have a dilemma right now trying to decide which program to attend as I have been accepted to both MCC & Muhlenburgs Fall Nursing program...Currently i am following both schools admission requirements, shots, CPR, etc. but I will have to make up my mind soon. Muhlenburg has a better course schedule for me to attend and work, but would cost over $10,000 more as I am out of county...Middlesex would make it difficult to work, and pay my mortgage, but would be cheaper and more convient. Financial aid has been a bust so far...

@Francine470 I saw in one of your previous posts that you may have to look for an apt. near Mountainside as you live in L.I. I have been tossing around the idea of renting a room in my house to help cover some of my expenses while in school...One of my friends rents out a room to a Rutgers grad student so he gave me the idea.He said grad.students are the best because they need to study, not party. As far as i'm concerned, a Nursing major fits the same bill... Like I said, i have been thinking about it, but have not quite decided yet as I am used to living alone with my furry friends. My boyfriend also lives in L.I. Seaford, to be exact, so I know the ride you would have to take.I live in Edison, right by Park Ave. which is about 7 mins. from Muhlenburgs school if you know the area.Just thought I would throw that out there...Not sure what I will do at this point...

@Lee

Yes I will need a room if I choose to go to mountainside. I'm not familiar with the area so how far is edison from montclair.

@onedayanurse, I haven't received anything yet from mountainside. It has been more than a week now since I've had my interview.

Onedayanurse,

I haven't received anything either. I was searching all over this site and accordig to people's posting it takes about a wk 1/2 to get a letter. I am super nervous and if I don't get in I will be fried. :devil:

@ Nancy, do you live in jersey. I know it will take a bit longer to get to me.

Francine,

Good morning! Yes I live in Jersey, actually 15-20 minutes away from the school. I am at my wits! If I don't get accepted I don't know what to do.... Jully 11th I am scheduled to take the TEAS for PCCC and at the beginning of July, Bergen CC said their application will be online for change of curriculum for evening nursing. I have to be patient with myself--I get it but this is my ultimate passion since I've been a little girl. Why do nursing schools make it so difficult for students, espeecially when they say there's a shortage? They at times make it impossible for us. :( I am so grateful that MHSON looks at the applicant as a whole not a score!

:uhoh3:The suspense is killing me!!:eek:
