Applying to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing?

I applied to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing..took the NET and received great scores:yeah: and now, waiting to set-up interview with school.

Anywone else applying and waiting to hear back? Anyone already go through their interview? I'm interested in waiting with other applicants!

This is my top choice and I'm ready to be accepted!! :D:D

@Francine470 - what other schools did you apply to? being nosey. i attend MCC and my daughter was just accepted to MHSON. whatever you decide, good luck!

NJCU, seton hall, remington college of nursing, long island university

@francine470 - wow you were busy! good luck with your decision. i've been to two of those schools(seton and LIU)..which campus for LIU did you go to Brooklyn or Brookville?

Brooklyn campus and its really expensive. I applied for their accelerated program

@francine470 - yes it is expensive and quite honestly (don't be offended) I didn't like their campus. for the amount of $$ they were charging they should have a lot more to offer. I honestly don't know about their accelerated program. Muhlenberg has an accelerated program as well. I don't know if you are from the area, or if you applied there but applications are due Aug. 1st

I didnt even get to visit their campus. I only applied for their program just in case i didnt get in else where because i heard its easy to get in.

ohhh...yeh I wasn't impressed. the stairways/hallways were dirty. There were a ton of students and it felt very high schoolish. Not trying to deter you but just telling you what I saw. We actually saw the dorms too because it was for my daughter and I didn't like those either. The best part was the location. Great shopping area and right across the bridge from Chinatown.

Hi everyone wanted to post a question regarding the inerview at Mountainside. I had taken my test about a week ago and this morning recieved a phonecall to set up an interview for this Friday. Any advice as to what to expect? Congrads to everyone who has gotten in and good luck to everyone applying :)

Hi Mandifresh,

Just be yourself, let your best shine through, and don't be nervous.. They ask basic questions; why do you want to be a nurse, what made you choose this career, and if you work or not. Who are you meeting with? Everyone I have encountered at the school is really great...Best of Luck and let me know how you do..:yeah:
