Applying MJC Nursing Fall'14 & Spring'15

Published

Hi,

Is someone applying MJC Nursing program in Fall 2014 & Spring 2015?

I am wondering: How high the scores will be on TEAS V Exam?

Mine is 68% in my first attempt.

On the points sheet I have 45/100.

If someone like to share their TEAS V score & Point sheet scores, it will be really helpful!

Also, it will help to avoid anxiety.

I will appreciate!

Thanks

Sam

Hi everyone...I took the TEAS and scored 80% (I actually thought I did a lot better...oh well). I submitted my application last night with a total of 64 points. I'm really hoping that's enough to put me in the top group of applicants who are selected to submit supporting documents. MJC seems to be a merit based system, so hopefully my grades and test scores will be good enough. Does anyone know when they'll be notifying applicants of their progression in the selection process. Thank you to everyone who comes on this site and keeps us updated with current information. Best of luck to everyone applying to get in this Fall/Spring!

I don't think they state anywhere when they'll be notifying people so I'm thinking they'll send out an email with all of the details after the application deadline. Hopefully we'll know soon. Good luck! :)

Who knows when we find out??

I spoke with admin there and they will be sending out invites in the next two weeks to those who are in their top applicant pool to verify documents, ie transcripts, licenses, working hours. After this and all applicants have been verified they let us know if we are in fall or spring start time. They will only email to your school email acct.

I scored 46 on my app and 75% on my TEAS. Totally nervous since the last two programs lost my application!!! I so badly need/want to get into this program.

Thanks for the info!!! Good luck to you!! :smug:

Thank you!! Good luck! :)

Thank you for the info Nicolekay. I'll be keeping a very close eye on my school email for the next few weeks. Good luck everyone!

I had 60 points and just got an email that my points were not high enough and I was not selected.

Sorry to hear... :/ I have yet to get any notifications...

I'm sorry to hear A.88. I know exactly how that feels; I applied to ARC and Sierra colleges programs this Spring and although I was qualified, I was not selected from the random applicant pool. I have not heard anything from MJC yet.

Thanks ladies! It's okay, everything works out the way it does for a reason. I'm still taking transfer courses for Stan State in the mean time and Statistics and Organic Chemistry so that I can also apply for Stan States BSN program next time. Good luck! :)

My friend who also applied but has 62 points received an email to send in supporting documentation. So if you have at least 62 points you should be getting the same email.
