Applying to the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing?

Hello to all!

I have applied to join class 69 (starting August 2009) of the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. I sent in the application in March, had my phone interview two weeks ago, and I have my fingers crossed waiting to hear if I have been accepted. I am staying optimistic. Anyone else also waiting for a reply from the school, or anyone who has already heard that they will be attending? Would love to hear from you!

Oh Axillan, I completely agree with StaRNew... I am going to congratulate you on getting IN!!!! I hope things work out for the "when" that you'd like... I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason... Be joyful!!!

I called cuz I need to sleep- worked last night and have to work tonight -and they said that they are doing it by program. But will know definitely by the end of the day.

Hi everybody,

Kudos to all who are in! Hugs to all in waiting!

Haven't really been posting alot (planting season) but....I was just accepted to the CNEP Class 70! did apply for 69 but 70 is great for me personally for work (school gig starts August). I got email while I was in the blazing garden.

Called my midwife historian:lol2: Mom, she was really tickled.

Let's all get ready for a ride! Does anyone know what textbooks we will be using?

I have heard nothing but GOOD things about Frontier and it's not too far of a drive for me (about 14 hours each way) so it's doable. It's the only school I plan on applying to.

If I may ask, what were your qualifications and experience, and what was the phone interview like?

Sorry, I imagined that I replied to this...the phone interview was after I got my app in (1 week). It lasted 20 minutes...and it was relatively easy to prepare for!

My background is Maternal Child (inc L&D) & Women's Health. Have you applied yet? Waiting for?

I am 50/50 for flying or driving....I live in NC. I heard that the drive is a tough one though....Where do we have to fly in again?

YAY, Starnew!!!!! I am hoping to switch with Caralin so I can be in class 70 and she can be in 69. (I was accepted into 69). I am so happy for all of us!!!

Someone here mentioned having a hard time in Statistics. Are you taking it at Frontier? I finished the course early this semester and have a good grasp of the material, so would be happy to help you.
