I sent in my application yesterday for the class of 80 bridge program. Now I must wait patiently for my phone interview and then a LONG wait to see if I get in! I have only been a nurse for 1 year. I worked in our local hospital as a nurses aid from nov 2004 until Nov 2009. I spent one year as an aid in L & D and then 3 years on medsurg going from an aid to extern to intern. I left the hospital for hours better adjusted so I could go back to school ( no nights holidays or weekends ). I have been working as a fill in nurse for a local CNM for about 2 years and she gave me a great reference, also my former supervisor of the L & D was a reference. I have wanted to persue a career as a midwife for more than 10 years, but just now have the opportunity.
Anyone else sent in their application for class of 80 bridge?
Anxiously awaiting...

Hello everyone! I too have applied to Frontier for the Class 80 bridge. I'm glad I found this post. Now I won't have to be the only anxious person awaiting acceptance. These next few months are going to be rough. I'm not good at having patience either. I just mailed my application today. Good luck to all of us!!:)
Thank you Happy Nurse! I applied for the FNP route. I've been a RN for 6 years now. I worked 6 mo med surg, 3 1/2 yrs OB, and 2 yrs in the OR and PACU. It's time to further my education. I cannot wait! Is the post correct that they only take 25-30 into the class 80 bridge? That seems like a small Frontier bound group. And LATE June???? I am definately going to be working on my meditation skills. Are you going crazy yet??
so you all know, Frontier's facebook page discussion board now has a class 80 pre bridge bound post

I haven't applied, but I email to ask some questions. The email I received said all Bridge students are together and then move to their respective post masters program of choice.
