With graduation coming up in December I have officially begun the exciting process of finding my first FNP job! In the last couple of days I have spoken with and submitted my information to a couple of recruiting agencies and a few larger national corporations that offer new grad training. Well, of those that I have submitted my info to, ( e-mail, phone number, address), I have started getting horrendous amounts of SPAM in my inbox and my phone is ringing nonstop with random telemarketers. I NEVER get telemarketing calls so it is no coincidence that it all started when I started applying for jobs.
The problem is I don't know which organization sold my information but now I am hesitant to continue this process online. I think it will be a much better process to go "old school" and shake hands and present myself and my resume in person.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? Was I naive in thinking that I was seriously applying for a job when all they were doing was searching for info to sell??

Just get on the no-call list through your state Attorney General.

I would apply to jobs directly through the facility website to avoid this.
